The Solution
We created a modern and fresh dashboard for MIE by utilizing a variety of techniques and tools. This included design research, interviews, wireframing, user testing, and prototyping. We developed 2 interfaces initially. 1 fitting in with MIE's corporate colours and the second one is more abstract making use of Bauhaus colours and shapes.
The end result was a UI that combined many screens into a dashboard making it more direct for users to use without clicking too much. User prompts and information were added in order to guide users if they ever get stuck and we coupled this with short tutorial videos that can be accessed at any point by users.
The result was a user interface that was loved by the client and that was easy to use with added features such as bulk uploads and dashboard tracking and user help. A fresh modern look for MIE to present to their clients and set a new tone for them going forward.
